I was just at Belding & Mull in Phillipsburg PA and picked up several pounds of VV350 and they had more. They also had unique, bullseye, promo, longshot and several others that I can't think of right now.

I had Morgan optical make me a set of shooting glasses for trap shooting and one for pistol shooting. The pistol lens are a happy medium between seeing the sights and still being able to see the target clearly out to 25 yards.

How hard was that to do and would that still need to be done if I set the CZC hammer to CGW to ave the hooks re-contoured?

So I've talked myself into selling my G17 and getting a P-09. What Mods can I do and still be IDPA/USPS legal? I will most likely order the gun from CZ custom or Cajun gun works.

I read where one USPSA competitor ad a lot of trigger return spring issues. Anyone else have the same problem? What is the sight dovetail cut for the 09. Is it the same as any other gun brands ?

I've been shooting a Glock 17 in IDPA shoots and I gotta tell you I really hate the trigger in it..lol I long for a trigger like the one I had in my para P-16 limited gun that I shot years ago. I got too handle a P-09 last week at a club shoot and I really liked the way it felt in my hand and how it pointed. So how good can you make the trigger in the 09 and still be legal in IDPA and USPSA production?

I was at Fur, fin and feather in Ashland Oh two weeks ago and they had a bunch of 8lb kegs of power pistol and red dot.

For some reason the ejector wire on my 550 has started to pop up every time i pull the handle. After several rounds the wire blocks the indexer and I need to push it back down. Anyone know why it started doing this and how to fix it? Thanks Lee

I went a head and ordered the KKM barrel. I want to shoot 160's but if wont shoot them well i'll just drop down to 147's and see how they do. Thanks Lee

I'm ready to buy a new barrel for my 17 so I called KKM and asked them how their barrels shoot 160gr bullets. They said the 9mm barrels have a twist rate that should stablize 115 and 124 best and 147s ok but he didn't know about 160s. Anyone have a KKM and shoot 160s in it? if so how does it shoot? Solo 1000 is a shotgun powder so most trap shooting clubs or gun shops that cater to trap shooters will have it.

Have you tried adding mineral spirits to your corn cob media? I spray some on mine while its running and I don't notice any dust at all.

If it were me and I wanted a steel gun it would be a CZ if I wanted to get a Plastic gun it would be a Glock 34 or 35,

I can't comment on any other progressive presses because my first and only progressive press was a Dillon 550 and I am very happy with it. I bought all carbide pistol dies, more money but less mess and one less thing to worry about especially when your just stating out.

I ordered a tool head already setup with the clamp system and the regular size package to convert my other heads. I also ordered their Dillon bearing kit to see how well that works. Thanks for the reply's

I recently bought a Beretta 1201FP and would like to replace the small charging handle. So far the only one I have found is the Nordic handle and I'm undecided between the standard size and the large one. Have any of you tried either of these, which one do you prefer? I am open to suggestions on other brands as well. Any handle that fits a Benelli M1 should fit my 1201. Thanks Lee

I just tried Turtle wax liquid rubbing compound mixed with mineral spirits. I bought some of the dirtiest once fired 357 sig ammo I have ever seen and was having a heck of a time getting it polished up. I sprayed 5 or 6 good squirts into my media and let it run for 2 or 3 hours and I now have bright & shiny brass.

That's a sick gun too, if easier dealings within IDPA's rules is your aim (as was mine), maybe consider picking up a second-hand 75B SA and adding the CZC hammer, 13lb hammer-spring, ditching the FPB, and adding a DA trigger and disconnector to make it DA/SA. Then you'll have a bad-ass bargain range toy, possible Limited minor gun, and you can slap your Shadow's slide on top of it to satisfy the rules for sanctioned IDPA matches. I have a 75 SA and I was thinking about sending it in and having it turned into a 75A Target. I would like to get a 75 SS Limited and have it worked over as a IDPA gun. So many choices and so little money LOL

This post brought back memories of having to leave our ammo on the floor of my truck with the heater blowing on it until we were ready to shoot just so we would still make PF during winter shoots (LOL).

I just looked in the new Lyman book and it does not list 231 for any weight bullets in the sig section.
