I heard that the directors wrapped everything up since they weren't sure they'd have another season.
Personally, I'd rather that the show die while it is still good than get played out until no one wants to see it anymore.
The directors know what they are doing so hopefully the show doesn't jump the shark.

My vote goes to the M1A in a JAE stock to eliminate any bedding problems.
They look cool but I've never played with one.
Is that a stock for our game as far as weight goes?

f*#king awesome ending.
The show should end completely - right here on a good note.

If you need some inspiration, here's a picture of Rob Romero's HM rifle:
I run the same sighting arrangement but with a Prismatic on top and everything else folded down (So I could finish a match if my primary optic crapped out/lost zero).
If I shot real limited
or HM, that's the way I'd do it. (MATECH + TROY BUIS)

Don't fight it just go get one!
Patrick
+1
Just go get one anyway!
I don't even shoot HM and I have an M1A. If I had to get rid of all my guns, it would be the last one I held onto.

How could you not shoot WW2 division? It's almost too much fun. Wynn and I are wondering if Trapr and Kurt will give it a try...
Everyone else in Tac irons is sure hoping they will.

I wouldn't do TG + Moly unless you're a blackpowder enthusiast or revolutionary war re-enactor.
-
Just wondering why you chose 200 over 300.
For me it's mostly for familiarity.
You could run a 300 yard zero with a Pris and have no problems but since the lower part of your sight picture is unobstructed, you have more options in my opinion.

Wal-Mart stuff for locals and Fiocchi stuff for majors is my rule.

You'll like the glass and KellyN & Casman are the ones who are running it best. (Although USP45SS & I will give them some competition next year
)
I put together a target just to sight in the Pris:

Buy MKE.
They are being discontinued and the price will spike soon.
I'd get a 9mm AR if I were you. Plenty more accessories, cheap magazines, and you can actually find parts...

Gus is a f*#king boss...
The "attempt" scene kept me on the edge of my seat.
That is all.

The biggest change would be the time slot, but I'm sure the producers would do that if they could.
You are correct and correct.
I said pretty much the same thing verbatim to the producers and when they can have it their way, they will!

AFT is always hilarious...

I'll be getting a Vinci now!
-
The Spike's Tactical Shooting Team will be there and made their room reservation.
It'll be a good match rain or shine and the folks running it know what they're doing!

I have one and all I need is the tubing to stack rounds to the ceiling.
I'll get around to it before the end of the year but from everyone I've asked, I've heard that there shouldn't be a problem.
Search for "Poor man's bullet feeder"

Add me to that list too.
Thanks,

It would be logarithmic, not linear.

Any updates on the finals?

I just don't see how a guy could drop 100lbs and not be able to do a 10-20 yard sprint faster than before.
One thing I've noticed about French IPSC videos is that they run quite a bit during pistol shooting. Most of the USPSA stages I've seen don't involve that much sprinting.
Example:

My experience has been that you never know where your rifle shoots at 300 until you get on a 300 yard range and shoot it.
Agreed - that or any other range. Theory is great in theory, not always in practice.

We don't have the ranges or the facilities, yet, in or around the St. Louis area to set up a 200 second multigun stage.
We may look fat and old, but there is no way yet to eyeball up mental toughness or intestinal fortitude, especially when failing and looking like a _ _ _ _ is not an option. Peer pressure can do amazing things.
walk a mile in my shoes...and all that....yada ....yada...
Trust me I believe you - Taran Butler is still faster than most of us and Jerry Miculek isn't slowing down much either.
I'm still waiting for the thread that asks, "Which facial hair is best for 3-gun?"

The perfect HM rifle?
