  1. I appreciate all of the replies. I started out with 4.7 gr of WST and the load chronod at 168 pf. So I think I will probably settle on 4.8 gr. I may adjust the powder drop depending on temperature due to reverse temp sensitivity. It definately is a nice flat shooting load.
  2. So I checked all of the obvious things such as hammer hooks and relief angle on sear. Hammer hooks were just a touch over .18 thousandths, so no issue there. The seat on the other hand has a relief cut but it is narrower than I have seen in the past. I guess I need to do the old blue sharpie trick and see what my engagement looks like.
  3. That's more for adjusting over travel. I understand that part. What I am experiencing is more like a second stage to the pretravel. Maybe my hammer hooks are a little tall.
  4. I just installed a extreme engineering lite speed II trigger kit on my Trojan 40. I have decent per and over travel on my trigger. Issue that I am having is that I feel some creep in my trigger just before hammer falls. What causes this creep and how do I get rid of it??
  5. I just bought my first batch of 180 grn bayou bullets and I am looking for a major power factor recipe using WST. Load will be shot through 5 inch STI so if anyone has a load that is around 1.180 OAL that would be great
  6. This may be a silly question, but I heard at one point that you were not able to make payment by credit card and you had to send a check. Is this still the case??
  7. So does that mean that my disconnecter is moving around in the bore??
  8. I just replaced the sear spring in my STI trojan. I used a Wolff sear spring. I have the pull weight where I want it at a nice crisp 3LBS. The issue I am having is that I now have this weird "Click" right before the trigger breaks. I pulled everything apart and I am not seeing any obvious wear marks on the disconnector or on the sear spring itself. I have fired the pistol several times and everything functions great. I hope that someone can help me out on here because I am truely stumpped.
  9. Maybe someone here can help me out with this. I did not receive my ballot for the original election and I have not recieved my balllot this time either. I called USPSA directly and the person I spoke with said that she did not know what to do about my issue. She verified my address and USPSA number. She offered to put me into Dave Thomas' VM box so I could make a complaint. Needless to say, that was not the answer that I was expecting. Anyone have and idea what I can do??
  10. I was just wondering if anyone uses a stock 2 in 40 S&W for production?? I am having trouble finding a stock 2 in 9mm and it would be kinda cool to just load one caliber.
  11. Not trying to be argumentitive snake. The rule states that you cannot have more than 8 rounds in a magazine AFTER THE START SIGNAL in single stack division. There is nothing wrong with barney loading out of your start mag.
  12. Tripp 10mm mags with the hybrid follower. been using them for a year now and not a single failure to feed. Awesome mags
  13. @ Rich. Why the springer over the STI??
  14. I'm sure this has been gone over on other threads previously but what other production legal parts do you recommend for the stock II???
  15. I am wondering if anyone is using a huening roller plunger on their production class stock II pistol and if so, how does it work??
  16. I would agree with the last comment totally. I have been doing spinning for the last year and I have lost more than 40 pounds. 40 pounds and I can tell you that I am not as committed as I should be. I don't eat like I should. Spinning is more like HIIT than pure road cycling. Good stuff.
  17. I have a SS that I need to put on a diet and I was thinking of trying a VZ grips aluminum MS housing, however I don't know anything about them. I am looking for pros and cons.
  18. I like bushings because when you do wear them out you are just replacing a bushing instead of a whole barrel or slide.
  19. I am thinking of shooting my 40 S&W SS in limited 10. I am wondering if anyone else is doing this and if you are what mags are you using.
  20. I recommend Rich @ Canyon Creek Customs. Rich is a stand up guy and really knows his Para' He has a really bad ass one for sale that he has customized. Awesome work.
  21. I have a STI trojan in 40 S&W and I am trying to acquire a spare parts box and I wasn't sure what slide stop to get.
  22. I've got a trojan and I love it. Gun feels awesome in my hand. Can't speak in regard to the Sentry.
  23. I just purchased a STI trojan in 40 S&W. I have shot both, and I prefer the recoil impulse of the 40. The other advantage is that mags seat easier because most mags capacity is 9 and you only load them to 8 giving you plenty of extra room in the mag. The down side is that mags are a little on the finicky side. Once you figure out the combination that thing out to run awesome. I just shot my first match with my new SS and I dont regret getting a SS in 40SW
  24. I just bought a SS with a SV trigger and it has the top curve trigger in it. At first I thought that I wanted a little bit longer of a trigger but after this weekend I have decided to keep that insert in. I really like the idea of the trigger though.
