  1. I don't know what you consider cheap John, but TDS has the AA mags for $16. I went through pages of Google search before I found anyone with them in stock.

  3. My favorite was when he said "I'm not trying to panic the public right now." Later on, when appropriate, he will instruct you to panic.
  4. You think Dave will intimidate him? By the end he'll know what "Troll on Fire" really means.
  5. When you're on my stage I'll ask him how he feels shooting with the famous Lugnut.
  6. They're shipping again. I received 5 that I ordered in May. Plus an extra at no charge with a note saying thanks for my patience. Reminds me of when one of my .45 mags had a spring that broke after rusting. They said it shouldn't have rusted or broke, and sent me three springs in case it happens to any of my other mags. Great company!
  7. Taking her away for the night to Springfield, MA Friday for her birthday. Oh, and the IDPA Indoor nats on Saturday morning, with banquet to follow.
  8. You need to stop operating that thing like a "troll on fire"!
  9. Great job shooting the revolver in CT. I think Gene has far too much influence on you guys. Both you and John C. drinking the kool-aid. Congrats on the M&P. They're a lot of fun once you tweak them.
  10. I asked a question about the wave washer that goes under the e-clip and was told that it was eliminated as unnecessary years ago. See post here: http://www.brianenos.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=66916&view=findpost&p=1114161 I have never broken an e-clip on a Dillon die that has a wave washer installed and their new dies are not equipped with them any longer. Cool. Someone at Dillon still thinks the wave washer is important because I bought my 650 new in April this year, and the E-clip problem happened last month.
  11. When this happened to me I called Dillon and they gave me two answers. First - if I was in a hurry I should go to the hardware store and buy a 1/4" E-clip. Second, they'd send me new clips(they sent two) but I should look at the top of the die and see if the washer was still there. It wasn't, it flew away when the clip broke. I was told the washer buffers the clip, and without the washer the new clip would soon break. They also shipped me two washers.
  12. Get the CR Speed belt - you won't regret it. Much more convenient to keep your gear on it and just wrap it around you at the start of a match. If you only use one side of it, you can wear it in IDPA. I use the inner only. A friend uses the outer, but I find it too stiff to wear comfortably.
  13. You had a great match Dave - congrats. Fun squad too!
  14. Awesome! A great shooter and quick to give good advice on the forum. Congrats.
  15. You sound like a pirate. Where are you buccaneers ??!!? "under my buccan-hat!" That one gets me every time.
  16. Powder Valley is listing some Zeros in stock. Shipping on bullets $12 per 68 lbs.
  17. I've seen a couple of USPSA GMs shoot the IDPA classifier in 60 seconds. Using that time for the HHF, (if my math is correct) an IDPA Master run in ESP translates to a 67% USPSA classifier score. You can do that.
  18. The Wilson ETMs are great mags - if they run 100% in your gun. My Ed Brown loves them, as does my Springfield. My Caspian gun doesn't lock back reliably with them. Chip McCormicks and Tripps run reliably in all my guns. Before you spend $150-200 on a half dozen good mags, ask around at your club and try a few Wilsons, CMCs, and/or Tripps to see what our gun likes best. I have the same issue with Wilsons in my S&W 1911. Slide doesn't always lock back, which can be a killer in IDPA. They feed flawlessly so they're great for USPSA. I'm trying Tripps this year, hopefully the metal in the follower helps with the slide lock.
  19. I'll be the voice of dissent. For most matches I use fiber optic front and plain rear. Last year I tried tritium (green front w/white outline, yellow rear - no outline) for the indoor nats. I will always use them indoors now. For a long indoor match, or practicing indoors all winter, the night sights are a huge benefit. Got bumped to Master at that match.
