Funny, We put a rifle together for my friend last night (Not an AX556). The billet upper was pushing his bolt-catch OUT and he couldn't charge his bolt at all either. Since we had extra bolt catches, we replaced it with one that had no paddle and everything worked perfectly. So, my thought is that it's a bolt-catch issue Ask AX556 if they will send you another catch and just take material off the paddle until it fits. Simplest and cheapest solution.

The mag catch I have is an STI. I widened the flat between the catch and the button. i also relieved the flat area about 1mm to avoid rubbing the mags. Everything is dropping free!

Relieving some of the mag catch helps but it's not there yet.

Good news. I figured it out. The Main spring housing was "binding" the mag when it was fully seated. A tiny bit of light sanding on the rear of the magwell and all the mags are dropping free! The mag catch issue is next, I will just modify the mag catch per my much more knowledgeable 2011 counterpart.

I had two "Poppel" holes in my cone-comped 9mm. I replaced the barrel to get rid of them... I hated the extra noise and my nose always had powder-covered boogers after a good days shoot

Yes, it appears the two short sticks are the NEW SVI mags, while the big SVI and short STI are fine. I'm sorry, but that is annoyingly stupid for SVI.... way to shrink your market.....

As I suspected, the mag catch slots on the short sticks are shallower (in relation to the centerline). I'll have to deepen them slightly.... Also, I thought it was a mag catch issue but even with the mag catch out of the gun, the short sticks are not dropping free....

Never mind i got it out.

How do i pull out the mag catch on an STI? Just take out that screw on the non-push side? I think the slot in the mags doesnt extend towards their centerline as far as it should (Comparing the big SVI to the small SVI's) Just checking on the screw... making sure there are no secerets to the dismantling of the mag catch

I have 3 SVI mags (2 short, 1 tall) and one short STI mag. All for 9mm. The STI and Big SVI lock in perfectly, the two short SVI's catch but the screw-side of the mag-catch doesn't seem to close flush. The mag catch slots all look the same and at the same height, what should i check to alleviate the problem?

Can anyone measure the height of the mount from the Left side, rear most mounting hole Center, to the top of the Mount (where the Cmore would rest). And also, the thickness of the top-plate where the Cmore mounts to. Needs to be really close measurements.... .001" type. I want to compare to my existing mount height and thickness. Thanks! ~SN

i looked but my blade-tech search skills are weak.

I had the same type of issue with my CZSP01 in 9mm. The Remington UMC rounds were shorter than the Winchester White box i normally used, and they would jam. You may need to find a brand of ammo that's a tad bit longer. that's my only experience with CZ and this type of jam.

This was a very rugged and high-retention setup. But I didn't have the Rail-Mounted optic mount like you have.

I did and I had the wrong photo numbers in my head. But when i look at the build specs on those 3, none say "Infinity Extended"
