  1. Tried this today while I was out practicing. I don't have any USPSA targets so I used the IDPA targets, if that's o.k. Best time was 2.45 with all hits in the zero. My average on 8 tries was 2.46 with 3pts down avg. Made me think twice about keeping a solid grip on the gun and keeping my head down. Thanks Brian. Gregory Brose A66948
  2. Here's my problem. I started shooting Glocks about 2 years ago. I have constantly had problems with "Slide Bite", the rail cutting into my strong hand thumb by the rear knuckle. I now have a G17 Gen4. I have tried both backstraps and I am still getting the same results. I keep on getting my hand up to high on my draws, cutting my hand open. I didn't know if the grip angle might have something to do with this? I'm sure it's me. I also have very large hands. They swallow up the G17. Maybe I should try the G34?

What is the grip angle(degrees) on a Glock 34?
  4. So, would N350 be a good powder to use for a Production load?
  5. Having trouble finding some W231. I've read about the Vitavuori N350, that it is an accurate powder? Would I benifit trying some N350? How does it compare to W 231? Thanks

  11. Thanks for sharing your info with me guys. Looks like I'll have to go shoe shopping this weekend. Maybe I'll take my daughter, she can show me how it's done
  12. What type of cleated shoe would be good for shooting. I've been shooting USPSA lately and nearly ate it a couple of times in my tennis shoes. What is a comfortable cleated shoe to wear? Thanks.
  13. I also have been reading BE's book, listening to Basshams CD's and Kirch's as well. It all has greatly improved my subconsious shooting. The focus factor was coming to me. I've shot IDPA for a couple of years now and went to my first IPSC match last month, I was amazed/proud of my shooting. My confidence level was at an all time high. My focus and stage preperation were at an all time high. That was the one thing I got from shooting the match, my mental conditioning before each stage. The subconcsious took over. I did as CHA LEE said, I let my subconsious mind shoot the match that day and had a great performance.

  15. I shot a G19 for a couple of years in IDPA. Just bought a Gen 4 17 about a month ago. Great gun for me. Just shot my first USPSA match with the 17, never shot uspsa before. Ended up 2nd in production, 595 points and 94%. I can't wait to get out and run the 17 again.
  16. Does the profile picture come in poster size?
  17. I read about a dirty extractor causing jambs in these. after all this I detail cleaned my G19, yes the extractor was dirty. Like I said, it hasn't happened since.
  18. That's what I've been looking at for a while now. I've narrowed it down to the 124 JHP Rainiers or the 147gr Precision Delta's.
  19. Here is what happened. I had just received some rainier 124 plated. It was the first time I loaded them so I loaded them lighter than usuall due to the plating. I went out and shot you see what happened. I went out and chronoed the rounds, they were making less than 124pf. My mistake. I went back to my normal bullet and load. Since I have shot around 1000 rounds and no problems. Thanks guys. yes I have learned a lesson.
  20. The only after market part is the trigger. But I was talking to myself about this same thing a couple of weeks ago. This may be the road I travel. Thanks for your advice.
