The only reason I want to drop the 10 rounds is because it is a leftover of the Klinton era. I hate everything behind the reasoning for 10 rounds restricted mags.
I'll load my 16's to 10 as long as everyone else does.
On trigger pull, getting people to measure it the same and the DA/SA issue Chuck stated would definitely mix things up.
(FYI, I do have an income from making XD's shorter travel and/or lighter pull.)
I know a guy who had a well known smith do some "sepecial" cuts in the frame and slide that didn't even match up when matched up. In the end I think he was out the cost of the frame, slide, and cost of the cuts.
I think wilth complicated cuts I would go with someone who has cnc or lots of experience doing it by hand, because it isn't easy.
Thanks Chris! I don't feel like such a lamer now. I've already decided the extra .2 isn't worth it if you ever blow them.
I'm glad I'm not alone in thinking there are much better places to cut the time.
Seems a little fast for a limited gun (more so for the 10 yard shot than the 7 yard shot), but open that sounds realistic pars to shoot for.
You are hitting head shots at 10 yards with a limited gun in around 1 sec? That is smokin!!!
Think less, shoot more...
Speed is the result of doing thing efficeintly. If you aren't aware of where the bullets are going, how can you be efficeint?
Either CC or SP, you'll get a great trigger and guys who stand behind their work. It really changes the performance of the gun, just read the testomonials, people LOVE their triggers once they are done the way they should be.
As Paladin said, we are saying the same thing just differently... I was just simplifiying it for those of us who are simpler thinking
So who do you go with now?
Sight alignment, tigger pep, and follow through, I'll be working on those forever...
Sponor yourself with your other business. Advertising expense. It might be stupid advertising from a business standpoint, but wear a shirt, bring cards and talk about business. That is probably the most common way I see people writting it off.
Sorry, I meant you should get a primer tube filler regardless of any reloader you use Did I mention filling tubes is evil, unless you have child or wife who like filling them?
I don't notice any differnce in times, just feel...
But then again I'm running 135 PF, might pop it up to 140-145 with the 147, just for a little more punch on steel.
If you don't chrono, how do you know what PF you are shooting? Major or minor you better know your loads. If you dont make minor, you dont get a score for the match.
