The West Houston Shooters Club monthly Multigun Match is this Saturday 5/17 Was able to reschedule for this coming Saturday after being "mudded" out. Lan & Mike (Dissent Arms) will not be putting on a match this month. Out of town shooting. Thanks . Forecast looks good. Bring water and sunscreen. Will definitely need help to set up 0700 - 0730. 5-6 stages, out to 200 yds again. Stages posted and sign-up at www.whidpa.com Matches are open to the public and new shooters are welcome. The monthly West Houston Shooters Club Multigun Match is this Saturday 12 April 2014. Forecast looks good 200 yard range is looking dry What more could you ask for! Will definitely need help setting up 0700-0730. 5-6 stages, back out to 200 yards again Stages are posted at www.whidpa.com Hammer down at 0900, sign-up starts at 0830. The monthly West Houston Shooters Club Multigun Match is this Saturday 8 March. Check in later in the week. Range received a lot of rain today and was still wet from the last round of rain. Will do our best to have a match. Will definitely need help at 0700-0730 to set up. 4-6 stages, depending on range conditions. Have been approached by a local organization (Team Defiant in the Houston Area) that provides all-terrain chairs and organizes sporting events for veterans. They want to organize a 3 gun match for their team. As background, I have been MD for 3 gun matches for many years. I have an idea of what would be needed for a 3 gun match for these guys, but am looking for ideas, things to avoid, etc. Anybody with experience, your input would be valuable. Will definitely need help to set up 0700 - 0730. 5 stages Set up this month for short minimal movement, don’t worry, that does not mean easy shots. Stages posted and sign-up link at http://www.whidpa.com These matches are open to the public & new shooters are welcome. Hammer down is at 9:00am & sign up begins at 8:30am. Matches are usually over between 1 - 3 pm. Please show up an hour early to help set up & stay to help tear down. Chamber Flags are now required for all rifles & shotguns. Empty brass, hulls or rope are no longer acceptable. We will have some Chamber Flags available for purchase at the match, 1 for $2 or 2 for $3. Your welcome to use your own but... Do not Park in front of a bay that we are not using. There is parking up front and a new parking lot in the back past the last bay. Gate... If the gate is open, close it. If no one is directly behind you when you enter or leave Close the Gate. Sticks... Our sticks are painted red. If we use his non painted sticks, please put them back Trash... If you see trash on the ground, Please Pick It Up. Brass... If you are not a member of The Impact Zone DO Not pick up range brass. Match Brass OK. . Lone Star Shooting Association will be holding the inaugural World 3 Gun Match on April 27-28, 2013 at The Cawthon Cartridge Club in Millican Texas (just South of College Station). Entry fee $100 limited to 100 shooters 10 stages: 7 on Saturday and 3 on Sunday. Approximate round count 76 rifle, 64 pistol, 44 shot and 2 slug. Stages will be up close to 500 yards. PM sent. We use 1/2 size USPSA targets (airsoft) to make shots more challenging in smaller bays. -

I have contacted Bushnell techical support several times trying to get the dimensions for the BTR2 reticle. Reps keep telling me they have to "escalate" this request. So far no response in about 4 weeks. I had been in contact with Strelok and all he needed was the information I have been trying to obtain. Maybe if more people with the BTR2 reticle called technical support, this basic information would be made available.

BTR-1 SFP The Bushnell 1-6.5x24mm is a short/mid-range tactical riflescope featuring the Bushnell BTR-1 Tactical Reticle on the Second Focal Plane. The BDC reticle is calibrated to optimize the ballistic profile of the 5.56/.223 Rem caliber. On 6.5 magnification, the upside down “T’s” on the vertical stadia’s are used to best fit a 12”x18” target and initiate a shot. Spoke with Bushnell Technical rep today. Attached find SFP BTR-2 reticle information (all they could supply at this time). "The Bushnell 1-6.5x24mm is a short/mid-range tactical riflescope featuring the Bushnell BTR-2 Tactical Reticle on the Second Focal Plane. On 6.5 magnification power, the horizontal stadia has mil marks at 1, 4, 5, and 7 for ranging 10” targets and can be used for windage holds. We put on a monthly multigun match every 2nd Saturday at the ImpactZone in Monaville (between Brookshire & Hempstead. Cawthon Cartridge Club puts on a Multigun Match with shots out to 500+ yds on the 3rd and 4th weekends of the month. The are located near Navasota. Texas Tactical puts on a monthly match in the Austin/SanAntonio area Best of the West Range puts on a Monthly multigun match (North of Austin) Have fun
