West Houston Shooters Club will be putting on the following class: Introduction to IDPA/Action Shooting competition. One hour classroom and 5 hours running scenarios and shooting. This is a beginner class for brand new shooters or folks that are just 1-3 matches in and want to gain knowledge of the rules, scoring, gear selection, various targets you may encounter and planning your stage. We'll start from scratch and have "you looking like you've done this before". Plan on at least 250 rounds. Bring gun, strong side vertical holster (that fits), at least 3 magazines and magazine holders (2 minimum) Will discuss/show some differences between everyday carry and competition gear. If you have a question you would like answered in the class send to whidap@gmail.com. Bring some snacks, water, hat and sunscreen. Start time 0900 and should end no later than 1500 (3pm).
