  1. Got a reply from the Czech Meopta people concerning the new reticle...... "This is the same reticle, just instead of the vertical line there are 3 markings. They represent BDC feature for 300, 400 and 500 m / yds for 5,56 NATO caliber, if the central dot is sighted in for 100m/yds." Wish there was more Bob
  2. In my email communication with Meopta , it was originally stated that the dot was 2.1 moa. I have emailed the gentleman who responded to my early messages and asked for he new reticle dimensions, we will see......... Everything on the diagram is at 4x. Bob
  3. I have been trying to track down the K-dot reticle dimensions. Contacted Meopta(Czechoslovakia)directly and recived the attached pdf from Meoptawith all the dimensions in moa. Bob Reticle K-Dot 1-4x22.pdf
  4. We hosted a 3 Gun match at the Cawthon Cartridge Club two weeks ago. Wind can be variable during the course of a day for the long shots. It will be "warming up" in Texas by then. Only real concerns is all the cow pies. Bob
  5. Fred gets all the credit for building the props. I had nothing to do with other than saying "Fred, when do you sleep". Fred has been non-stop with his "real job" and fabricating props. Thanks Fred, it is appreciated. Scores and AAR posted in another thread. Bob
  6. IM me your email if you want the score details. Will also be posted at www.whidpa.com in a day or so. This month we were hosted by the Cawthon Cartridge Club. Excellent facility and thanks to Mr. T53 for the facility. Thanks to Fred Q for the last 30 days of fabricating to make all the props. All worked well. no malfunctions. Four Stages: Rifle Only stage (hoser): 4 shooting positions, including low prone, plenty of paper to neutralize. Shotgun Stage: 12 poppers, 7 plates, a slug gong(shot 4 times), a rabbit and a Texas Star from low prone!!! A challenging mix of select slug loading (approx 80 yds), knowing your pattern at 20 yds and not messing up your loading plan Jungle Run: "Secret Stage" Competitors keep out of stage till shot. Started with a 50 yd pistol shot, then follow the path down the creek bed dropping poppers as you saw them, final position rifle (which you carried) two mini poppers at 100-125 yds) Long Range Rifle: 1st shot 100yd off hand, then to 1st bunker , crawl in 3 flash targets at 200, 300 & 400 yds, then to second bunker, from right side right shouldered 3 flash targets at 180, 280 & 380 yds, then from left side left shouldered. Match should have challenged all of your shooting skills. Low penalty time goes to Kyle McGregor & Chad Nicosia, well shot. Overall match winner: Jason Tielke, well done Next month back at the Impactzone.
