IPSC Rule (Jan 2012) 10.2.8 states..
....
However, the procedural penalty will be applied on a "per shot fired" basis when a competitor uses the other hand or arm to:
10.2.8.1 support the handgun or the stipulated wrist or arm while firing shots.
10.2.8.2 increase stability on the ground, a barricade or another prop while firing shots.
What's your call, and why....
Competitor on both knees, butt on heels shooting under a table strong hand only.. weak arm running along side of body, elbow is at waist, hand is at knee.. but clearly NOT touching the ground..
- can inward pressure be applied with the arm?
- can the hand be pointed towards the knee, or must It be facing out?
- how is this different than bracing the weak hand against your chest or waist, perhaps even clutching your belt?
Thks!
