Great match everyone. Stages this year were the best yet and no shooting from yellow, blue, or red squares. Also not trying to beat a par time. The stages were set up that you win or lose them yourself. The SO's and staff were oustanding and ensured that everyone was safe but had a good time. The prize table was awesome and I want to thank all the sponsors who supported the match and hope you all return next year. I can't say much more than want has already been stated but it was the best 3 gun I have shot and I hope to be back next year. Thanks to all the guys on squad 20 and see yall in April. Mike

From an earlier update "there will be 81 paper targets and 23 steel" and something about doing math. A later update suggested bringing between 200 and 250 rounds.HTH How many of that is pistol and how much of that is rifle? Must be the first rodeo.

I hope Andy will take it easy on us old guys this year. At least provide some O2 in the stages. Plus I am going to practice shooting the little white pieces of iron since I shot quite a few last year I want to get all of them this year. MS

Just my input on the match fees. With the increased match fees the prizes table should be made where you can see what you are getting. As in my case I finishes two places out of a gun and pulled a bag worth about $50 and a shooter that finished in the thirties and another that finished in the fifties got a bag worth well over $500. To travel all the way from the east coast and pay the increased fees you should be able to choose your prize for the place you finished. Hate to bring this up again but just want to give my 2 cents worth MS

but if you have your stance, grip correct should this matter? I thought (and could be wrong) that that's called timing your shots and therefor your not seeing your sights correctly, you've just got it timed right when the gun recoils to "double tap". Is this correct? I'm just guessing here, but if Brian Enos or Duane or Flexmoney pick up any gun with any spring / bullet combo they aren't going to have this problem because they've got everything down correctly. Please correct me if i'm wrong. Yes it is timing but if I pick up a 45 with the bullet (230gr) moving at 750FPS and snap it around like I do a 9MM (115gr) moving at 1100 FPS or like my open gun moving at 1300 FPS it can cause issues. I have to adjust my timing and splits. Yes anyone could pick up a gun and know what they are shooting and make adjustments and not have a problem. Do it all the time. Just giving you something else to look at.

You might try changing bullet weights. You have to find a combination that works for you with your gun. I have glocks that have over 100,000 through them and I have shot 11lb recoil spring in them and have never had an issue. In the 40's I use 13lb but it is according to the load I am shooting. In the 9's I us 115gr because of the snapper load and I have no lagging which work for my style. When I shoot 147's I have an issue of shooting 3's of d's because of lagging time. Try different loads with different springs until you find a combo that works for you Mike

I can't believe you wrote this. I could believe that Rob would have wrote it sence he kicked tail on this stage. I know you just like punishment. Mine will be going out in the morning. Relax fellas there's enough to go around. I don't think I'll have my SX3 ready for this match though. Rob Mike, do you and Gimme-Gimme want to squad up with Team Adventure Travel? That would be fun. Gimme isn't coming I think I will check with him but Randy, Chad and I are driving out for sure. If you can hook us up would be good. Mike
