I havent been able to get on in months. When I click the links in their emails they just time out.

My friends SP01 would not make PF with 4.0 or it was right on the edge. I am pretty sure he does 4.2 or so

I have no idea if he arbed or not. He looked pretty upset. Basically the RO turned around after he holstered and when he looked back shooter was sighting through the port and racked the slide. We had one shooter on our squad get called for 180 and he got a re shoot after the RO's story changed Also saw a shooter get a reshoot on a stage that he had to shoot some poppers multiple times. Weird stuff for my first nationals. Other than a few instances the staff was awesome

We watched one guy doing a "accelerated walkthrough" (I think that is what is was called) RO took him up to the line and had him un bag his gun. Gun was holstered and RO said to let him know when he was ready. Shooter drew his gun and took a sight picture. DQ'ed because the make ready command had not been given. I cant remember what stage but it was one of the first few. I felt bad for the guy

Wow that could be me word for word except I havent diagnosed my problem yet. Dont get mad. I did and it ruined the whole match for me. I lost my game and never got it back. Focus Plan Execute Reload It was quite possibly the worst I have ever shot and it will be the last time I let myself do that

I wish you would have told that to my 226. As bad as I was shooting the two bad FTE's really hurt I switched to a 226 my buddy brought for me just in case.

I dont know the measurements but it should be stamped on the sight mine is on the left side of it. I have a 226 stainless in 9 and it is a 8 front

Production match?
ammowaster replied to Golfballshooter's topic in Match Announcements - Pistol Only - USPSA, IPSC & Misc.
Jesus.. 576rds for 18 stages. That is only if you dont miss -
If I remember correctly it is kind of like bluing in that if you put it on a smoothe surface it will look somewhat glossy and matte on a rougher surface. It is supposed to be a very tough/hard finish but you must keep it oiled or your gun can actually rust underneath because it is porous. Some people apply it over hard chrome because then you have the ultimate protection. There are a couple picture threads here with some good pictures in them. If you have any questions talk to Springer Precision(Here is a link) Steve J, Your link isnt working for me

Chicago Gunstore and Vegas Gunstore...
ammowaster replied to sandman_sy's topic in Travel, Locations, Ranges, etc.
I dont know how it would apply to a visitor from out of country but I know that you cant ship scopes out of the country without permission. It falls under ITAR Hopefully someone more knowledgeable will chime in but here is a link http://www.pmddtc.state.gov/regulations_la...r_official.html -
Troy Are you saying if you switch guns you go into open automatically?

Kim got me all squared away. I was bummed because I left the squad with everyone I know. But now looking at it I am pretty excited because my current squad is all production with a couple master and A shooters. I think it will benefit me and my shooting a lot more. Squad 36 here I come

Why aren't there more Master level Production shooters?
ammowaster replied to lugnut's topic in USPSA/IPSC Shooting
Dave Sevigny's classifier scores don't really influence the percentages of any other Production shooter. His only influence comes at a major match when he wins and there are at least two other GMs that allow the match results to be counted towards classification percentage. There have been many BE Forum discussions about classifier high hit factors. What I've learned is that for Production division, the HHF is generally 95% of the Limited HHF for any particular classifier stage. So what does that mean? His scores are so high at a match that it makes the other production shooters artificially low? -

I know exactly what you are talking about I am in the process of looking at other guns but keep telling myself that I have so much to improve skill wise no to worry about the tool -
Makes sense Thanks

How does that work? Does each stage count as a classifier or is the whole match counted as one?

Yes That is pretty impressive to me. Makes it a coveted position. I didnt realize there were so few GM Production guys. Just another goal to shoot for:) -

I am a little confused by those numbers Are there 49 GM production shooters on file OR 49 separate GM classifiers on file -
That would be great if we could do it in 3 days

It sounds like you and I are on the same page. The reason I have left my Sig stock is because I have plenty of other things I can work on. I am going to run it as is for Nationals and then make a decision at the end of the year
-
Oh I wish that was the case. The only thing I could do immediately is sell the sig and buy another pistol. If I want something like the all around I will have to save a while. I have heard a lot of people comment that the all arounds could benefit from the Grayguns workover as well which doesnt sit well with me considering the initial cost. The more I crunch the numbers I think I should just stick with the sig until I am ready to move into open or limited. I will probably never figure it out

So with 16 stages how are they going to break it up? 4 stages a day? 5+5+5+1??
