  1. they are on my web site. www.securefirearmproducts.com
  2. I have a locking plate rack for sale. It is set up for Bianchi spacing. we can work out details of possible deal on having it made in NZ
  3. If it doesn't pass the jump test with it unlocked then it has to be locked at the start signal. if you can have it unlocked and not have it fall out during the jump test then it can be unlocked at the start. Just remember that a dropped loaded gun is a DQ. David
  4. I heard their mover was partly on some elses property. am trying to get confirmation
  5. Why don't they shoot in biliings any more? I am from Joplin and we heard they are shut down.
  6. Please notify Secure Firearm Products of any Moving Target Systems, Locking Plate Racks, or Turning Target systems for sale in the Atlanta Area. Our truck and trailer containing our display booth was stolen after the NRA Convention. I just hope the criminal lowlife that took it will see that is is not guns of any sort and abandon them some where.
  7. The nice thing about moons is there is never a lost brass match.
  8. I have a overhead wire mover that is portable designed. I have been working on the drive electronics for a while. I wanted it to be able to be programmed for different speeds and cable lengths for use in USPSA, ICORE, or IDPA as well as a NRA AP Mover. Anyone interested?
  9. Alot better than the 17,000 for the Action Target single rail mover.
  10. Secure Firearm Products has a single rail mover that can be taken down and set up fairly quickly. They also can quote you on one made from Alum.
  11. I knew he used the same powder but forgot he uses 9x23. Thanks Alan. I will be sure not to pick up his brass and put in my bag
  12. Kevin, Good to Know. BTW I have some 9x23 I will put in my pocket and bring to you in LA. you are the only one I know who shoots that stuff. dcs
  13. Kevin Angstadt I believe uses WSF in a 9x23 loading. Travis Hayton also uses WSF. If you use WSF it is reverse temp sensitive. Travis has been called to Chrony at the CUP more than once because the ammo was left in sun before testing and it was low.
  14. The problem with Glocks or any polymer framed gun is the mounting of the shroud. I have a friend that has gone through several frames because the mounting holes get to the point of non use after many rounds and disassembles. On a 1911 with a thin dust cover it is still a problem. Louis's Wilson Combat has the rail on the front and therefore a thicker dust cover for mounting. The problem is that you can't screw into the plastic you must have a through stud of some kind.
  15. put that barrel i a chuck in a lathe and stone that step so it is gradual
  16. What type of bullet? jacketed, plated or lead? is your automatic machine varying the criimp? I would check those issues that would be affected by heat first after Warrens suggesting. What heats up first is the barrel and bushing. binding up would keep the barrel from locking up in the same position. and at 25 yards just a few thousandths of and inch could make the flyer. lube the barrel with a good quality oil that stays when hot. or a good EP grease (light coating) on barrel where it locks up with bushing. David
  17. I can provide a 45 to you goldfieldshooter if you want to shoot 45 metallic again. This is my carry gun you might have to clean the rust off the tritium sites. The gun I loaned to Karl is now Louis's backup gun. went from 45 ACP to 9MM. He won 1 world and 1 national Cup with that gun. Now his girlfriend is shooting it.
  18. Most of the Secure Firearm Products Team will be there. Mark, Doug, and Sydney
  19. The velocities do not mean much of a difference in scoring if you have a properly adjusted mover base (bullet speed vs target speed). The lead will be different for the different velocities but with a constant bullet speed and mover speed the accuracy is dependent on the shooter. if you are shooting Metallic then you lead will be different but the accuracy will be still dependent on the shooter. if you figure the 10" dia 10 scoring zone and the variance in bullet speed there is a wide range of velocities which still hit the 10 ring. If placed in the center. you have 5" lag. at 900 ft/s the lead is 10" at 1800 ft/s the lead is 5" at 25yds. at 10 yds it is 4" and 2". Most shooters use 1150 ft/s 10yds 3.13" 15yds 4.7" 20 yds 6.26" and 25yds 7.83"
  20. Rob Vadaz shoots 9mm metalic and he does very well too. 1918 in the World AP Match in New Zealand last November. mIssed 1920 by less than 1/4" Stay with 9mm
  21. It really depends on what the FPS and Bullet weight of your ammo is in combination with your slide weight. Louis's and Sydney's Bianchi guns (the ones I built) runs a 9mm 115gr bullet at 1150. His spring weight is either 7 or 8 lbs. and his mainspring is i think 11? it was the lightest mainspring I could find. Anything lighter and the gun would not cycle. Louis's Wilson Combat Bianchi gun on the other hand was built by Wilson Combat and I do not know what he has in it. However, your results may vary. David
  22. Yes, The spring tester from Secure Firearm Products does this. it is available directly from SFP Here or from Dillon Precision or Brownells It will test most springs. However, it will not test the smaller diameter Glock springs. They are working on a fix for this problem. David
  23. send me the pad and I can mill out. or send to warren and he will fix it. Louis uses 9mm but the 38 super are the same mag. some have the groove in the front which i heard are preferred by TGO. I have several.
  24. Billings Has matches starting in March I believe and running through Oct. The club is the springfield bench rest club. Their website has the match dates. dave
