horseman
Is it normal for the pull weight to be different when the trigger is pressed on the top part as opposed to the bottom part of the trigger? My guess is it seems to gradually become heavier the lower I move my finger on the trigger. Range is about 2.5 at top to probably 8 or 9 at the bottom. zzt
Not normal. It sounds like the joint between the trigger and the bow is loose.
Hi-Power Jack
The reverse is normal, but not to the degree you mention (2.5 lbs to 8.5 lbs). Usually the lower on the trigger, the lighter the pull because of leverage.
louu
Do you have some over travel? If the over travel screw is adjusted to the fine edge where it just drops the hammer and doesn't move much past that you will have inconsistent pull.
ACree
I believe Louu is correct, Back the over-travel screw out s bit and re-test. Edited March 30, 2018 by CCG
horseman
Thanks, I do have a bit of overtravel but will back it out a turn or two and see if that affects it.
