Dummy rounds

Recommended Posts

Its been a while since I bought some but here is a link to the dummy rounds I purchased.   Currently out of stock and go fast when they do have some on the shelves.

Just checked Brownells and they have some in stock (but at twice the price)  Free shipping until midnight.

Read somewhere that its ok to use live rounds as you dont chamber them anyway.

Tried it with flag in the chamber. Think its safe.

Be very careful with this. A very experienced friend murdered one Webber grill and wounded another through his garage and family room wall with a slug. :o

That said, I use the Brownells dummys also.

Thank you. I do. Aside from the chamber flag, safety is always ON and Trigger finger outside.

I have the aluminum dummies but its rim are a bit sharp that they easily grate the small plastic teeth in my arredondo speed loader tubes disabling them to hold the shells inside the tube. Im not into duo or quads. And Im not in US so access to such is not as easy.

I don't know where you read that but I'd also question any other recommendations from that source.

Reputable sources will always recommend that no "live" ammo should be used in dry fire exercises and most recommend no "live" rounds to even be in the same room.

Safety first.
