Sandbagger123
i put a sdie mount in place of the original serendipity. i am only using 3 screws. i loctited the screw using red loctite, came back from zeroing it and the mount was loose. so would adding the 2 other screws solve the loosening issue? or it does not matter and the issue is some where else? niroth81
There are 5 holes, why wouldn't you use them. That's kinda like only putting 3 wheels on your car....
mro111lland
Make sure you get the loctite on the threads and tapered part of the screw.
theWacoKid
Three will work and five won't fix the loosening issue. Make sure all threads are clean, dry, and free of oil and let the loctite set up at least overnight. Otherwise it won't take.

Clean the threads with acetone available from any hardware store.
zzt
Or better yet, treat all threads with Loctite primer/conditioner prior to Loctite.
