Calmwater
The round on the right reminds me of some "Pin grabber" bullets I think I saw in a book by Jim Cirillo once....... The one on the left that looks like a baby bottle, I have no idea................
ChuckS
They were used to try to make the photo interesting since we have now seen 1,000,000,000,000 1911 - flashlight photos...
Chris Keen
Here we see a rare glimpse of the famous .... "See me lay the bullets on the flashlight / next to the 1911" pic.

BlackSabbath
...a feeding nightmare for sure. Beat me to it! The one on the right is like the bullets I used for pins in the early 90's. I it DPS steel and DTR USPSA this past weekend...where were you?
Patrick Sweeney
Not to show off, or anything, but the one on the left is probably a THV, a French high velocity armor-piercing round. On the right, a bullet designed by the late Charlie Kelsey, the Devel originator. It was intended as a full metal jacket, non-lead bullet, but the shape was designed to cause almost immediate tumbling in tissue. And as far as I recall, both had excellent reputations for feeding. AriM
maybe a bit off topic, but does anyone know what kind of grips that gun is wearing? P.S. can someone start a 1911 / flashlight / knife / ammo / accessories thread....we all have pics of our guns in that pose right? gun porn?
