a63829
Good Afternoon, Has anyone seen or is it even possible to convert an 9mm M&P L model to an open gun.
eerw
Olhasso has as an M&P converted to an open steel gun, not sure if it started as an M&P L though. IIRC EGW built the gun. Think Yamil has photos of it. Edited November 28, 2009 by eerw
G-ManBart
Some discussion on Open M&Ps below. The big problem will be coming up with big stick mags...not sure if anybody has an extension that will get them to 170mm or not. Also, much like Glocks, I'd suspect more folks might wind up using a full size, rather than Pro/L model. http://www.brianenos.com/forums/index.php?...t&p=1010784
itchy
I think you can find pictures of Dave's gun on his site or Julie Golob's site. It's an open steel gun with a slide mounted optic. EGW did the slide lightening cuts and I think it's their comp. Seiichi
kend
We have the Taylor Freelance 170 extensions for the M&P, I haven't stuffed one to see what they hold. Some discussion on Open M&Ps below. NoSteel
Dan Burwell has been working with an Open fullsize model for a while. Looks like he's getting close to having it working well with the 170mags. It should be just a matter of time before there is something available for a longer version ( I Hope) See discussion here... http://mp-pistol.com/boards/index.php?show...=15104&st=
