Zak Smith
Larger version Looks good and shoots better. Break-in yielded multiple "one hole" groups at 100 yards. The big Leupold scope is just on there for testing; for 3Gun it'll wear a TA11 ACOG. -z
rhino
Sweet! Is the tiny piece of pic' rail on the handguard for a red dot?

Zak Smith
rhino, Close! Since I shoot in Modified/Tactical most often, I'm going to put JP's short-range iron sight there. I've used it with success on my old 3Gun AR. -z
George
Nice rifle, Zak. Welcome to the club that shoots one of the best. The JP feels so good in your hands, you just don't want to put it down, and if you do put it down, it looks so good you just want to pick it right back up again (at least that's the way I feel about mine). In fact, now that I have got to thinking about it, I'm going right downstairs and getting mine out of the safe for a little dry fire, and general all round fondling :-) Regards,

Zak Smith
Adjustable Gas Block: Offset tac-rail for short-range iron sight or JPoint/Doctor: IAI - Integral ACOG Interface (the slot & holes in the upper). I'm not using it with the TA11. Oversized Magwell and solid trigger guard floor Muzzle comp Hidden dovetails on lower receiver Machined lightening cuts in upper. Note how much extra "beef" is in the upper/lower interface area. -z
ErikW
OK, I'll bite... what's the hidden dovetail for?
Julien Boit
Hey Zak nice rifle What about the bennie cooley compensator ? How efficient is it ?
Zak Smith
Erik, I don't know what you'd use the lower rec's dovetails for. Some sort of mag holder or light, perhaps? Julien, Yes, it's the BC comp. I am still dialing in this rifle. I also have the BC comp on my other AR and it is very effective. -z
