TheOtherErik
Ok now that the nationals venue is set in stone, I might as well start planing for it, or seeing if is even possible. Basically what is the best airport to arvie at? I will be departing from San Fransisco. I know that there are few to choose from but all are going to require a few hours of driving to get to Quincy. Choosing a hotel is usualy straight forrward but are certian locations more desirable than others. Any other advise form the verteran travlers to that area would be appreciated. ErikW
Fly in to St. Louis, rent a car, and drive 2 hours to Quincy. Then only a half-hour to Barry, where the range is.
Limitless13
You could fly into the Coles County International Airport and ride with me KS

Flexmoney
St. Loius is a hub for TWA (if that helps).
dminor
TheotherErik, Chicago is 6 hours from PASA and another 1/2 hour to Quincy. Only if you want to do some serious driving is it worth it. St. Louis is the place to fly to. If you need anything else let me know.
Shooter Grrl
Other Erik, We flew SFO to STL for $198 roundtrip last time we went, and the rental car was less than $200 for the week. For us, the 1.5 hr drive to Quincy was nothing!
B.J. Norris
Erik, Take a hard look at the Icehouse Inn in Barry. Sure, you gotta drive 30-45 minutes to eat with somebody, but its only like 5 minutes from the range. Haven't stayed there myself, but a few friends did this year and said it was pretty nice. Detlef
STL is the only reasonable option. Unless you have your own plane, then flying into Quincy is better. --Detlef
