gmantwo
Since I might be moving my reloading operation inside, I've been considering all the plus/minus problems. I can build a cabinet for the vibratory tumbler, but what to do about the dust when I pour the contents into the rotary seperator? And when I open the seperator? I've been thinking of a semi-enclosed shroud type contraption with a shop-vac connected to suck in all the floating dust. Kinda like a dust collector for a radial arm saw or similiar tool. Any ideas? High Lord Gomer
I use Nu-Finsh car wax in the media, never have any dust, and get shiny brass.
03k64
I use Nu-Finish and cut up fabric softener sheets in the tumbler and don't have any dust problems.
Canuck223
I keep my shop vac under the bench, and run it while pouring the tumbler into the seperator. Then I vacuum out the dust in the tumbler, and spin the seperator, while sucking the dust out of the air.
Sarge
I add a nufinish mix to the corn and dryer sheets to the walnut and I still get a little dust. Not enough to bother me since I do all the cleaning in the garage but there is a little dust. I usually open the garage door and blow out the tumbler, seperator, etc with a compressor. I blow what I can out the door. I never felt comfortable moving this process inside the finished basement where I load.

Flatland Shooter
I run both the tumbler and the separator outdoors. Problem solved and I don't get all that dust in the house or into my respiratory system. Bill
