The_Vigilante
Received a new catalog from Firequest yesterday and was browsing their exotic ammunition for the 12 Ga. shotgun. Some of the more interesting were the Flechettes, Terminator, and Flame Thrower. The Flame Thrower looks like it might be a good bear stopper. Have any of you ever purchased and shot this ammunition? Does it live up to the hype?

Does it live up to the hype? I don't know about this brand in particular but I messed around with some of this stuff. The only thing I'd use the flamethrower to stop is a large moth. Most of this stuff looks neat, it's fun to mess around with, it's expensive and not much use. Just my $.025 J-Ho
2alpha
Yes when the bear grabs you azz he can use it to roast you to medium rare before he dines on your carcass. Slugs and a nearby tree for Bears.

shred
Long ago we tried some 'Dragon's Breath' SG loads in a flooded berm. Not impressive. More on the order of a cheap firework, so maybe more entertaining at night or something.
