Patrick Sweeney
Congratulations to our own Ron Ankeny for making Master in Revolver.
spook
Congrats Ron!!! I thought you quit shooting revolver (saw the 610 for sale here)? If you're still shooting revolver, that's good news.
Ron Ankeny
spook: I did sell the 610 and I am concentrating on Open for a little while. As for revolver, well I am picking up this 6.5 inch model 25 that has been tweaked just a little bit.

John Dunn
Awesome, congratulations! So now you're a Master in 2 or 3 Divisions? You should go for all five. How many 5 division Masters are there? I'm not worthy.

Nik Habicht
Ron, I thought the goal was to make master in one division before 50? You might need a new goal.....for those remaining few days... Way to Go ---- and with a revolver no less!
Ron Ankeny
Thanks guys. Encouragement from folks like you has been a large part of making my goals a reality. John: So far I have made Master in Limited and Revolver. I got within half of a per cent in Open then slid backwards. I love the Open gun because it is just so fast and intense, but the hit factors are so darned high. I am pretty close in L10 (shooting my single stack) and I think I should move up in the coming year. I haven't even tried production because I don't know what to get. I am leaning towards a CZ. Nik: I just shot a 4 classifier special with my open blaster and it's going to be close. My birthday is September 15th (still a bit shy of 50) and that's when USPSA should run their classification update. Hmmm...maybe I'll get a new card for my birthday. Garfield
Ron, Congratulations ! (Might I suggest a Glock 17 for PD )
ErikW
September 15th [...] when USPSA should run their classification update Be on the lookout for an early update, or a late one, due to the nationals starting on the 13th. Good job on the Revo M. Last I saw even some of USPSA's top wheelgunners weren't Masters.
