rk272
Down to the wire for the Dillon price increase should I get a RF 100 or a casefeeder for my 550 ????
yoshidaex
i'd say a case feeder. Getting into a rhythm and having to stop to reload the brass tube after 20 cases or so can't be conducive to large quantities of finished rounds. you can always preload your primer tubes before you start your reloading session. Matt P.
if your choice is one or the other, then a case feeder would make more sense
uscbigdawg
Ditto. In a choice of one or the other, definitely the case feeder. Rich
Blazer
Casefeeder first, load primer tubes anytime.
cnjaxx
Case feeder is the thing. I have two RF 100s, and I only use them if I am pumping out a lot of ammo, using the
speculatorking
+1 for the feeder.

Graham Smith
not sure of the exact part description but the tube that holds the pistol brass. I'm still confused, isn't that part of the case feeder?
yoshidaex
you're just pulling my leg, right? 650 comes with just the tube and a post to support the bracket. The casefeeder goes on top of the post/support bracket if you bought one. I think the majority of pictures showing the 650 is a bit misleading. They show you the case feeder but in small print it says the case feeder is sold seperate. sorry guys, slight thread drift. Graham Smith
650 comes with just the tube and a post to support the bracket. Don't know about a 650, I don't have one, but this post is asking about what to buy for a 550.
yoshidaex
i realized the 550 don't come with the "tube" unless you buy the case feeder kit. my bad Edited December 30, 2008 by yoshidaex
