  1. Haven't been around here for a long time, just getting back into it after a move. I'm sorry to see you go. You helped me get going about 6 years ago with my complete xl650 for 9mm, 40 cal. 45acp & 223. Case feeders and the whole ball of wax. Enjoy your retirement. You mean a lot to a lot of people.Thank you. Bob.
  2. Thank you G-ManBart for the correction on the Zero bullets & the rest of the information.Bob
  3. I know that Berry's & Zero bullets are plated. What about Xtreme, Precision Delta & Montana Gold? What gives Montana Gold bullets that "golden" color? For those who have used several or all of the above which do you prefer? As always thanks for the knowledge & replies. Bob
  4. I use a Q tip or a pencil with a piece of duct tapt wrapped around it backbards (sticky side out) Or you could use a pencil type magnet.
  5. The items I received were INA brand. Just went out to the shed to go through the trash and find the boxes. Part number on the box for the bearing is TC815 and the number on the washer box is TWA815. These are listed on their website - INA.com. I had to type in the whole "http://www."thing to get it. hope this helps someone. Bob
  6. Just put the bearing & washers in - works like a charm. Nice and smooth, no snapping at all.
  7. Another vote for nu finish.
  8. Gonna give it a try myself, just ordered the parts. Thanks Alan
  9. Boo, was just about to post the same question but found this on a search. Thanks for the idea Dillon> Tried it today, works like a charm. 1,2,3 changed!
  10. Anything to fill primer tubes other than something home-made or the $300.00 dillon?
  11. Very nice Wellerjohn, exactly what I was looking for, counting the finished rounds only. Thanks. Bob
  12. Can anyone make the two smileys dumping beer on each others heads instead of clanging together? What a shame - to brag about screwing someone.
  13. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
  14. Thanks guys. Loading on a 650.
  15. Bought 2 1000 count boxes of WLP primers the other day. Did not have my glasses with me so all I saw was the "WLP" on the end of the box. When I got home I noticed that they say "for regular or magnum loads" Are these what are called magnum primers? Can they be used safely on regular 45 ACP loads? Thanks. Bob.
  16. Another vote for nu-finish car polish.
  17. Bravo, that's what I did several years ago. Got myself a list of what I wanted, called Brian, and was in business. Good choice!
  18. I bought the videos for both the 550 & the 650 before I decided on which one to buy. I decided on the 650 and after watching the video. It was very simple to set up and get going as soon as I got it. I think anyone interested in one of these great machines should invest in the video. Surely Dillon would get a lot less "trouble" calls. It might even be worth their while to include the video with a new machine. Good luck with your new toy.
  19. Welcome, as you've already found this is the place to be. I also bought all of my equipment from BE about 5 years ago. The hard part is waiting for it to arrive.
  20. I have had my Dillon 500 for about 5 years now and always run it for 4 hours on a timer. No problem yet. I use it about twice a month.
