chp5
I'm building up a fun little .22 SBR with a can. I'd like a decent red dot for it, but dont need an Aimpoint level red dot for a .22. I also dont want BSA-type $25 junk either. Looking for something at or less than $100. Thx.
shooterbenedetto
Whatever you get, make sure that the dot is 8moa or bigger. Otherwise you will loose the dot in the sun! been there done that.
DougCarden
The Millett one is ok, I have been impressed with the Burris models, and the price is close to what you want to spend... DougC

uscbigdawg
Cy, Looks like the old Tasco to me. Given that it's a 22, my only concern is getting an "airgun" kind of recoil. Thus far have not had this problem with my C-More on the TS upper. So...I'd say get anything you can find on the low. I would think that one of the Airsoft "dots" wouldn't be bad. maineshootah
The Millett one is ok, DougC +1 they can be had for right around 100 - dot is a bit small however, 2 MOA I believe.. it has been a WHILE since I picked up my Bullseye gun(s).

The Millett SP-1 has a 3min dot and you can buy then at RifleScopes.com for $69.95. I have them on 3-4 guns including a 454 Casull (1500-rounds) and they hold up just fine.
