Flexmoney
(Triple...your English didn't translate very well) DESEMPLOMAR. tr. TR. Metal. Metal. Quitar la chapa de plomo o revestimiento de este metal cuando está aplicado sobre un cuerpo. Remove plate coating of lead or mercury when it is applied on a body. Are you telling us that you know a way to remove the lead from the comp? Or, are you asking(?) us how to remove lead from your comp?
bountyhunter
50-50 mix of vinegar and hydrogen peroxide is the only thing on earth that takes lead out of comps. It softens the lead up so you can scrape it out. Edited June 6, 2008 by bountyhunter
shred
Lots of threads here on the topic "comp cleaning". I usually use a piece of brass rod filed to a chisel point in a dremel.

It's the only thing that makes sense otherwise he would have included instructions if he was telling us how. Believe me, I know.... Jerry Edited June 8, 2008 by 1911jerry

1911jerry
I will try to post a picture of the comp. I mixed a 50/50 solution and dunked the whole comp in for a few hours. Came back to check on it and pulled it out and rinsed it off to find some of the hard chrome came off. It was very clean, and this solution does work. Just monitor usage. Might not be a bad idea not to dunk the whole dang thing in the solution next time. JS 50-50 mix of vinegar and hydrogen peroxide is the only thing on earth that takes lead out of comps. Toolguy
Only leave blue parts for 1/2 hour and stainless for 1 hour. Rinse well & oil.
