bberkley
Rob Shepherd of www.m9guns.com built this shorty 9mm Open gun for me a couple of years ago, and I haven't shot it much lately (or any gun for that matter), and gave it to him to work the grip over and have his wife Caryn paint the grip and aimpoint to match my Limited pistol. I can't wait to get it back and shoot it. If you are shooting Area 1 (Friday ALL DAY) this year, you can drool over it (not on it) in person. Jeff686
Hey Brian!! Looks awesome. I've seen a couple great looking paint jobs by Caryn. I'm set for Area 1 all-day friday also. Maybe we'll squad together. I'm shooting my new open Tanfoglio in 38 super. See it here: my first open gun Maybe we should have a side bet. Berz Rejka
Hi bberkley, nice blaster and paint!! I'm interested in the Aimpoint +mount you have there. I might be getting one myself. It is a CPMI I assume? What is the hole-spacing for the screw-holes (for frame)? An is the mount in an angle to level with the barrel? I mean does it put the sight in a little downward angle to compensate the barrel angle? Usually this is about one degree but I need to be sure. Is the Aimpoint a 2, 4 or 7moa dot version? What do you think is the best? What do you all think, what are the benefit to using an Aimpoint over c-more. Personally I'm disapointed with my experiences with c-more. The build quality is under par, the dot is not sharp, there is horrible parallax and it doesn't keep zero too good and more. I would get the aluminum version but they cant export it at the moment so that no option yet. thanks

Its getting yanked for a C-More and offset mount. I feel that the size of the Aimpoint is preventing me from seeing what I need to see during a course of fire, and that I tend to "tunnel" through the tube rather than just see the dot and the targets. Its a Comp C SM 7moa and will either get mounted on a Carver mount for a Glock Open project, or sold.
