markwilliston
I picked up an SVI slidestop for my Edge, after being very pleased with the ambi safety from SVI. The slidestop doesn't appear to be long enough, in that the springloaded retaining pin doesn't put any tention on the slidestop and it will fall back out. Anybody else seen this? HSMITH
I have had to deepen the plunger bore on a couple STI frames, seems the dimension wanders a good bit. Brownells sells the tools you need if you want to use that slide stop.

Joe4d
Rule numba one grasshoppa,, modify cheap part to fit expensive part. Order a $17 EGW slighly oversized slide stop.
markwilliston
Grasshopper listening, if plunger don't work, shinny slide stop going back
L9X25
If you are only a little short, you could modify the shoulder on the plunger so that the end protrudes farther out of the frame. That also agrees with the "modifying the least expensive part" theory...
HSMITH
I don't modify the cheapest part when it isn't the part that has the problem, I instead choose to fix the real problem
