DJM3808
Does anyone have a cure for fly away walnut shells, I'm sick of this stuff going everywhere and stick to everything. The corn cob stuff is even worse.

SLM
And a good wipe down of the tumbler bowl, separator, bucket, etc with a used dryer fabric softener sheet does wonders (for a while). You'll have to redo it every 4 to 5 batches or so but it works for me. I use those things on anything plastic...
AlamoShooter
I save all the used Dryer sheets and put two or three in the boul when I run it = and thin throw the sheet away as it traps lots of the lead dust.

Rik
I just buy the cheap dryer sheets at wally world, cut them into 1" strips. Toss a couple of these strips in the bowl.

I'm glad someone finally asked about this topic because it's been driving me nuts for years. Dryer sheets huh? I've gotta give that a try. Thanks for the tip Jamie!! SLM
Dryer sheets pick up a ton of stuff out of the media. I cut them into 1 to 2 inch squares and toss them in. I use them in both walnut for cleaning and cob for polishing. After the load is done just throw them out. They'll be black with stuff they pick up.
