thanks, I sold a San Diego luber and a SDB 10/40 conversion and I'm a little surprised at what they brought. got me to digging s#!tz out of the closet. -

I do apologize for the way this is presented. I'm really not that computer savvy. I shot a G34 for the most part and thought about asking those guys, but they do seem like a butch of nuts to a baby boomer. Rik -

unfortunately, I've pretty much aged out of reloading/shooting and am selling stuff off on ebay. kinda nuts what they are paying. anyway, this is a set I bought in mid 2000's for my RL 1050 and never used as the Lee got there first and I was very satisfied with them. I want to put them up, but don't want to misrepresent as carbide. the decapper is stamped carbide. the seater and crimper do not say carbide, but they are marked on box as 14406. and I would love to put my RL 1050 up but have no idea how to ship it, if anyone has experience there. -
I ran a 34 in IDPA many years. KKM match barrel, tungsten rods, low recoil springs, trigger jobs right @ 2#. my advise is unless you are close to master level, save your money. I was middle of the pack when I started and after a decade of shooting I was still middle of the pack. with a torch and a drill/dremil, I can make a Glock trigger scare you, but I'm still middle of the pack. crazy world we are living in.

There weren't any Spartans when I bought my Trojan. Not for a few years.

I put several thousand rounds of Blazer FMJ rn through my 9mm Trojan with never an issue. When I started loading JHP, had a lot of issues feeding. My gun smith (Otto, St. Louis) recut the ramp and it's been good since.

It takes the lowest form of human life to shove a camera at a grieving person.

My experience with MC of Il. was very good and I would buy from him again. Really like the bullets and got a 25% discount for buying 25,000. When I got there to pick them up, the price was less than I expected and Mike told me he got a better deal on lead so I was getting them cheaper. I tried to order another 25.000 in April and he said the flooding had shut him down and he could not have them by the date I needed them. Rik

Just a WAG guess, but I'm going to say because Production is cheaper to shoot and has a very wide selection of competitive guns to choose from. Rik

I bought the external battery pack and have yet to use it. A charged up CED will last a long time. I got the silicone skin, carry case, neck lanyard and belt clip. I use the lanyard more than the clip. Haven't tried the wrist strap. I may pick up a car charger, but haven't needed it yet. Rik

I have a Pact MKIV with chrono and a CED 7000. Day and night difference. The Pact is a battery hog and large. The CED is by far my choice. Compact, rechargeable battery that will run my dryfire sessions for several days and easy to use. Rik

I like them with peanut butter on top. Tasty.

Huntsville Alabama

Do you know what part of Huntsville you'll be working in. The Huntsville area is spread out pretty far for a city this size. You can find rural enough for a range, but you may have to drive a few miles to work. I would try to locate so as to avoid a commute across the city. I just retired from a job in St. Louis and moved to a town about 20 miles south of Huntsville. Shot a USPSA match my first weekend here. You will probably be pleasantly surprised at the cost of housing. Best, Rik -
Trek is a good bike in that price range. Rik

I went with KKM in my G34 and shoot lots of lead. Couldn't be happier. Rik

Riding mower recommendations?
Rik replied to Flexmoney's topic in Miscellaneous Topics That Do Not Fit in Any Other Forum
I mowed 2 acres for 20 years with one of the lower priced John Deeres (about $1800), my neighbor went through several of the bargain priced mowers in that same 20 years. Like they say it's best to cry once. Rik -
Last couple of RL1050's I watched go through EBay went for around 1200 plus shipping. Rik

May not be related at all, but if you have an overtravel screw, it can cause light strikes if adjusted too far forward. This caused me a lot of grief on a G34. I ended up taking it completely out. Rik

I am using the PD 147's for matches and they are working out well. Haven't shot any MG. For the same money or close, I would rather have the Zeros than PD. I would use any of the jacked bullets listed over the moly coated unless there was a big price difference. I'm not cheap, just value oriented.
