slickrick
hi there. i have a glock 17 with stock striker spring and connector. i've tried cutting 4 coils off the stock recoil spring and it felt better. do you think using 13lb. ISMI would be ok ignition and reliability-wise?
cpty1
You should be able to run a 13 with no problem. I would say only a very small percentage of guns won't work with the 13, and have to run a 15. Stock is 17. 00bullitt
I run the 13 pound ISMI on the ISMI guiderod. I also like the Wolff 14# on the Wolff guiderod. I just feel that the Wolff springs don't last and the ISMI's seem to never wear out. I would say yes.....definitely go with the 13# ISMI. It works well with all loads. Turbo23
I might be the small %... But my gun only likes the stock spring weight
Aircooled6racer
Hello: I use the 13 Lb spring and cut 3 coils off with the stock guide rod. You will love it. Thanks, Eric
atmar
the gun can fire out of battery if you continue using the stock striker spring... but 9mm's rarely kb.
sslav
I run a 13lb ISMI spring on an ISMI steel guide rod. Works fine, but I also run wolf lightened striker spring. BTW ISMI springs do wear out - I am on my second in about a year. Slav
