Mystery Super Bullet

Whenst tumbling super brass I came upon a few loaded rounds...obviously from different people because the brass was different and the seating depth was all over the place.  But they all used the same bullet; a copper jacketed flat point with cannelure.  Seems to be popular, and hand-feeds beautifully through my STI (which is still having New Gun Jamitis).

Can anybody ID this bullet for me?

Is it a hollow-point?  If so, is the cavity hexagonal in shape?  If it is, its a Ranier - though I don't remember if Ranier makes bullets with a cannelure.  Triton Ammo uses the Rainiers as well - though I do not know if they load for Super.  The Rainier restrikes are pretty close to an FMJ - very thick plating.  That is why Triton chose to use them for their defensive ammo.  Later.

A quick yank with the pliers and it appears to be a 125 grain .357 bullet....a quick drag with a file and it appears to be a Ranier.  Funny....it looks quite a bit like the pack of Ranier 125's I have in a drawer....

I would guess y'all are right...this was prob. a revo load. The brass came to a buddy for $20 a thou...the person said he had a 50 gallon drum of the stuff.  If it came from a place like San Luis Obispo or something, I can see a lot of it being revolver loads.  Thanks.

(Still feeds good....don't think I'll fire it, though....)
