1911user
2000 seem to fill one pretty well. I'm talking about the more boxy flat rate box (not the thinner document box version).
Steve J
Ditto. I just picked up 2000 on GunBroker due to be shipped in a $10 flat rate USPS box. There's not much room left after that.
AWLAZS
I have been searching for the old post that listed brass per pound and average flat rate box volume. Does anyone have a link?

Patrick Sweeney
Be sure and use lots of clear packing tape, or a busted box will mean no arrival of products.
Hammar
You can fit 3,000 .45acp brass into the large flat rate box. Also will fit in the large box: 6,000 9mm 4,000 .40 2,000 .223 1,500 .308 As was said before, make sure you tape the box well. USPS tends to bang these things up, especially when they are heavy, and you don't want a trail of brass strewn across the country.
