smokshwn
Did a search/read the rules but couldn't find an answer for this question. As long as the holster is at the hipbone, is it legal for a holster to have a forward cant? specifically a BT DOH set one setting to the forward cant postition. Thanks, Craig
HoMiE
Yep. Only Rule 5.2.7.3 applies. Muzzle cannot point further than 3 feet from competitors feet when standing relaxed.
eerw
one of the local match directors wears his gun with a slight forward cant. should be no issue. seems the rules only dictate placement on the belt.

el pres
Hey Craig! I always read it (for 3g) as the trigger guard needs to stay at or behind the center line, thats it... Who shoots production anyway???? Just kidding!! Edited November 20, 2007 by DIRTY CHAMBER
Joe4d
So that would make it A production holster "can" ?
Mo Hepworth
I thought no part of the pistol could be forward of the hip bone? (ie: with barrel forward cant, it may be ahead of the hip bone)
HoMiE
I thought no part of the pistol could be forward of the hip bone? (ie: with barrel forward cant, it may be ahead of the hip bone) Correct, if it is canted, it can't be past line of hip bone. I always used to get questioned on this or asked shooting L10 today, but perfectly legal for Production per appendix that covers it.
