zhunter
The Asians, both men and women are making great strides in the world of golf. KJ Choi and Vijay Singh to name two men. There are lots of others you have not heard of yet. The American professionals lack technique, drive, and because of that are getting their butts kicked, Paula Creamer is the best of the young ladies. Julie Inkster is 47 and kicking their butts badly!!! Not sure of JPC's win, but the PGA is being played at Oakland Hills south Course this week, I am not there yet, but have heard that scores will be high. Edited to add: Hippee Chicks, it was the time of "free love" Which winning score is more fun to watch, even or 15 to 18 under par? tightloop
Even par or above...love to see the pros struggle like the rest of us would...guess that is why my fav tourneys are the US and the British Open...the old timers who could hit a 3/4 knockdown 5 iron and run it into the green were miles ahead of the bomb and gouge crew of today when it came to having the different shots to really play a links style course. Now those were shots that required real imagination, not the decisions of today whether to hit a flop 60 degree wedge or not. Hippie chicks were fun, and the era of "free love" lasted WAY longer than the historians would lead you to believe when they write about the 60's...Ahhhhhh, for the old days... .44 Mag or bigger for a woods sidearm? zhunter
..44 Mag or bigger for a woods sidearm? I never take a side arm when bow hunting But if I did, it would be my .45, I take it everywhere Does "Free Love" still exist, or a thing of the past?
