zhunter
I am going to 80# from my Mathews Z-Max which I had tweaked out to 73# Gonna get the X-Force up to 83# for an upcoming hunt. BTW, I had always used Easton A/C/C's, but my cousin is a CE shooter, so I am gonna use them for local hunting, which is minimal, and practice. Loop or not? zhunter
Less I like to stalk so many of mine are longer, but I did get a 4 yard shot in a Wild Pig one day, also stalked to 17 on a Turkey I am sneaky. Buff at 13 But, practice to 50, 60, 70, or further?
mjbine
Since, I mostly stand hunt, I practice to 40 yds and usually will not take a shot if it is further than 25yds. In the woods, I can't see every little limb or branch, so I tried to make the cleaniest shot that I can and still feel confident about it. I always tried to stay within my limits too bad I don't do that in USPSA shooting. What time are you in the woods? 6am or before
zhunter
Sitting quietly in the stand, if stand hunting, 1 hour before any type of first light. Morning or evening better for ya?

Believe it or not the best kills have come while in a stand between 12:30pm -- 2pm. I don't know if it because people are leaving and returning from lunch. When I hunt, I stay in that stand from 430am until 1 after dark. I am quite and see alot. Boots Leather or Rubber

(asked the king of the slicers) 2 degree closed face belly putter or standard Don't know - it's a tough technical question... Is there any contributor to the Which One thread (of a sufficient golf pedigree) who would be qualified to answer this question?? I can't think of one...
