Locals food is fresh and prepared properly, "our food" often sits waiting for a stupid tourist to come in and order it, and THAT is how you get sick in my opinion. In 26 years of traveling/working around the world and much of it in 3rd world countries, this type of food restaurant choice has served me well. 3rd world countries, yes or no?
