AikiDale
Chip was the kind of student teachers dream of. He not only wanted to learn, he insisted on it and shared his discoveries with everyone who was interested. He was a NiDan Aikidoka, and had just gotten a patent for an improvement to the artificial heart which increased the flow rate. A bright shining star Brilliantly illuminates, Summer night falls late. We'll miss you Chip. Obit from the Courier-Journal: CHENG, ROLANDO "CHIP" JR., 28, of Louisville, passed away Wednesday, June 27, 2007 at University Hospital. Waltermitty
The question isn't whether we will live or die, we all know the inevitablility of this path. The only thing that matters is how we use the time that is given; and on that score it looks to have been a Great Life indeed. May your great fortune in knowing him comfort you now that he has gone ahead.

SiG Lady
Like my grandfather said, "Life is too short." Even if we live to be "old", it's still too short... but particularly "too short" for the passing of a good young person. You have my condolences on the departure of your friend.
