Duane Thomas Posted August 21, 2002 Share Posted August 21, 2002 As my skill level improved I found myself very unsatisfied with the standard wide "combat" (if you can believe that) type front sight on my gun, and wanted a deeper rear notch as well. So having a rear sight that allowed me (or rather, the pistolsmith) to simply pop off the rear blade, deepen the notch on a mill, and then reinstall, no fuss, no muss, was great.
