trg
The trigger pull on my 1911 is a little on the light side. How do I get 5 oz. more?
Run n Gun
HERE'S an excellent article on how to do a 1911 trigger job. In your case, pay particular attention to the "SEAR SPRING PREP" section. It'll show you how to adjust the Sear Spring to do what you're trying to do. It's easy. Ed
Josh Biondi
If you are not confortable to work on sear angle and hammer hooks you can bend ahead the left leaf of the sear spring looking at it from back. It add more weight to the trigger pull force necessary to push the trigger.

HSMITH
If it is a little light for your taste put a little more tension on the left leg of the spring, If it was OK and is getting lighter keep a very close eye on it. When a trigger starts getting lighter I get the heebie jeebies, shortly after that can be full auto events and all sorts of 'fun if you knew it was coming' things happening.
