Larry White
Ask Benny about his new "Horus", it is a nice scope, and I believe cheaper than the Meopta, and available.Trapr What's the word on this Benny or Larry? Is this the company selling the scope? http://www.horusvision.com/scopes.shtml Are we talking about the Talon illuminated? It looks suspiciously like a Meopta...is it? It is the Talon, not a Meopta. Its a good scope. The problem with it is the reticle is very cluttered. If you have a lot of overlapping targets at close range all the rangeing and windage stuff in the reticle makes it hard to tell where one target ends and another begins. With single targets at longer ranges it may well be better than the K dot, it at least will be more precise as to shot placement, some times the dot just covers a lot of stuff up. Benny has the Meopta on his rifle again for now but I'm sure the Talon will have more use to come. Both good quality gear, may boil down to a personal choice deal.-------Larry
EricW
Thanks! Has Horus stabilized more now? I tried doing business with them in the past and they're flakier than me, which is really saying something.
