Rufus The Bum
Would an STI Long Dustcover frame with a STI Classic slide be considered "experimental" since it's not really a standard configuration? I saw a guy shooting one today and, I asked if that was legal, he said he didn't know. That seems like a super-idea to me, the extra weight up from with a really light slide. Any ideas from the rules experts?
Phil Dunlop
Rufus, thats basically the configuration of Brians pistol, except his is SV, so I guess its fine for USPSA, its definately ok for IPSC. P.D.

(OK gmIprod its a very nice gun! for those that don't recognise it, thats a silver fern milspec'd to the slide, to nz as the maple leaf is to canada) (Edited by Phil Dunlop at 10:16 pm on Jan. 30, 2003)
TDean
That's actually Kyle's "fossil" slide. It was found at a dig site near the ancient city of Abydos, Egypt. The 3000-year-old hieroglyphics at this site show various flying vehicles as well as STI slides and frames indicating a very advanced civilization. Experts unanimously agree that ParaOrdnances where NOT among the Egyptian's favored blasters.
