The Draw

I used to scoop and could do .8x's on demand cold. No body noticed(except me working my azz off) that I switched to a hand down on the gun draw a few years ago. I can do .9x's on demand, cold. Most of this really doesnt matter except on a classifier stage, steel match or one or two stages in a match. The rest of the stages you draw and open a door, run to a port, or whatnot and frankly a 2 sec draw would work.

Most classifiers are 10 yards so a 1.0x is the norm to shoot a 95-100% score

Just to motivate a couple people (you know who you are ), I was running Max through some Steel Challenge stages yesterday. His draws to the 25-yard 12" plate on Outer Limits were .88, .92 and .92

The key for me was to relax my arm, shoulder and hand. When I finally got that done I went from 1.4-5 to 1.0-1.1.
