ErikW
You might only be seeing before you pull the drigger, not when the hammer drops. All kinds of bad things can happen in the thousands to hundredths of a second between those two functions. You need to your dot on your aiming point then you need to see it lift off in recoil. benos
Maybe your "nickname" is your problem. (Sorry, but somebody would've said it.) If you "see" your dot, but don't see/find the shot, then you didn't (really) see your dot (long enough). be
38supPat
Ditto..its not enought to just 'see' your dot, it must remain on the target long enough to ensure a hit. If the first one hits where you want it to, then we know your gun is sighted fine, so anything else must be caused by the shooter, slow that fast finger down a bit and see if the hits appear. Mike Auger
This should be obvious but ,You must see the dot long enough to see it lift in recoil, otherwise you do not know where the muzzle was aimed at when the bullet actaully started towards the target. Sure , sounds easy but when you finger is faster than you are seeing it's easy to get one of those mystery misses.
2alpha
If the shot doesn't go where you call it you weren't seeing the dot when the gun went off. JJ
PaulW
Have you ever danced with a piece of steel, sights on, trigger pulled, you start to leave the position only to see the steel still standing? Then you repeat the process several times before the steel falls. FOLLOW THROUGH with your shot.
