Ask for Meredith Sapp. Shes the customer service manager for the firearms division. I don't have a gun done up in IonBond but I do have other items like a camshaft and piston wrist pin from our race engine. Very hard stuff. I tested the wrist pin on a rockwell hardness tester and the coated area is definetly harder than the uncoated area. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

uscbigdawg Posted November 22, 2006 Share Posted November 22, 2006 I was thinking of coating a bolt or carrier in it, but haven't got around to researching if it's worth it. I convinced a friend to coat his carrier in NP3 and it's sweeeeet and after seeing an Ionbond coated magazine at the A6-3G, could see some possibilities.
