bj44
Does anyone have any loads for Titegroup in a .357 SIG thank you B.J.
dillon
Hodgdon does not list any data for Titegroup in 357SIG. My personal opinion is that Titegroup would be too fast-burning for safe use in 357SIG.
eric nielsen
You need more volume of powder than Titegroup can provide - this is to give the bullet something to rest against as there's not much neck tension with a 357sig. Talk to some of the 9x25 shooters and they could make suggestions. Probably a Viht powder.
sargenv
+1 on tha advice against Titegroup. I figure if you wanted to stick with Hodgdon powders, Universal, HS6 and Longshot would probably be better choices. Vince
Harmon
accurate arms number 7 or 9 is the stuff for the sig. alliant power pistol is supposed to work great too. i bet imr4756 would work nice too.. harmon
Bad Flynch
BJ--Give VV 3N37 a try. I have had good luck with this, and it is clean burning. I like the pressure to velocity ratio, too. Not too hard to get good velocity. Edited April 6, 2006 by Bad Flynch
L9X25
If you were loading for an open gun N-105 would be the ideal powder. If this is NOT for an Open gun you should try something a little faster like N-340, N-350 and 3N37 since these are what VihtaVuori recommends for the caliber. There will be plenty of boom with these powders, make no mistake! Leo Edited April 4, 2006 by L9X25
