The old record for the Largemouth by Perry is as old as the hills (and some say it wasn't accurate). That guys cool for letting it go too. 'course those California folks have probably been doing something "fishy" for years like dumping growth hormone spiked Bass food in those lakes just to beat the southern Bassers for the record. Or somekind of devil's work, genetic (Bass) engineering. I wouldn't know I live in WA where our Bass usually are the size of stocked trout.
