diehli
Safari has been completely unstable while I'm on this site, going kaputsky quite frequently while I'm trying to view the latest post in a thread. I've had Firefox for a while, but never really played around with it. After messing with it for a while I figured out how to give it all the functionality that Safari had (WRT keyboard controls). Hot damn if it ain't stable as all get out! Odd how a third-party product is better than the OS originator's, however. Color me pleased.
spook
I dread the minutes I have to spend with Internet Explorer for certain sites that don't support Firefox. Firefox is da sizzle fo' rizzle.
Merlin Orr
I upgraded/updated to the latest ver. a couple of weeks ago. Most definitely slower...
Middle Man
I started running Firefox at home and at the office. Its really, really slick. There's even a built in spell checker feature for forum posts, web-mail, etc. *see it didn't like webmail and put a ugly red line underneath the misspelled word, but did like web-mail or web mail just right click and you have the corrected word
D.Hayden
Thanks for the heads up.. I hadn't installed 2.0 yet, still had 1.5.xxx Spell check in the forum... sweet!
John Heiter
Gotta love all the available about:config tweaks and mods available for 2.0. You can make this browser just about anything you need it to be. http://kb.mozillazine.org/Firefox_:_FAQs_:...:config_Entries
Bwana Six-Gun
For those of us who are barely able to access the forum and add replies, What the heck is Firefox? I thought that was a Clint Eastwood movie?
stingerjg
For those of us who are barely able to access the forum and add replies, What the heck is Firefox? I thought that was a Clint Eastwood movie? Firefox is an alternative to Internet Exploder. I switched about 10months ago and i havent looked back. n2ipsc
Firefox is perhaps the only upside to IE7
Vlad
Just you wait until you play with Opera, though Firefox is nice and in my opinion a very close second to Opera.
TBF
Firefox is pretty cool. Opera is faster on my old junkers. Travis F.
